BIO
Tom Zembko, along with fellow musician Barney Griffin, formed a wedding band in 1985. The Tom Zembko Orchestra, aka tommyZ, soon became a house band at the Huntington Townhouse, in Huntington NY and performed at weddings and other functions there as well as many other catering halls and venues throughout Long Island and the tri-state area. The band also played quite a bit of original music and performed at collages such as Yale and Princeton as well as in a number of rock clubs in NYC. More recently the band acted and performed an “off broadway” type musical dramedy called “It’s The Music” written by Barney Griffin. If you would like to listen to one of the songs from that show, go to the audio section of this website.
Throughout the 90’s and until moving to Florida in 2019, Tommy has been very active playing private parties and functions as a solo artist as well. He plays piano and sings everything from Billy Joel to Frank Sinatra and Long Island has been a great place to live and perform. But Florida is home now, specifically Inverness, FL, and it’s really the best place to be. It’s a beautiful country town and the people are wonderful.
It’s also the home of the Cornerstone Southern Baptist Church and Tom has found a home there as well. Their worship band, led by the incredibly talented Craig Aven, is one of the best bands around! Attend just one service at the Cornerstone and your life just may change forever!
Since moving to Florida, Tom has joined forces with a number of musicians and performed with country singer Luanne Hunt among others. With fellow bandmate Julia Hartman on fiddle country has never sounded so good.
Adding to the mix is Jeff Esch who’s rich voice can praise the Lord like nobody’s business. People love the way he sings Summertime and other standards.
